This stone marks von Tauentzien, facing Lannes to the south on the road from Closewitz to Lutzeroda. Cospeda is in the background on the right. Cospeda was taken by General Gazan, commanding Lannes' 2nd Division, when Tauentzien withdrew to Vierzehnheiligen (to the north-west).
