This stone in Kappelendorf marks the eventual appearance of von Ruchel's Detached Army. Hohenloe had sent for Ruchel's 15,000 men, stationed in Weimar 10km to the west, at 9.30am, but they only arrived at 2.30pm, with the battle effectively over.
