Seven Years War : Rossbach

The mannequin seated in the background is wearing an original Prussian tunic, whilst the bed is the actual one that Seydlitz died in 16 years later - a gift from his family. The museum building is dated 1632, and Seydlitz stayed here when wounded at Rossbach. The museum is only open on Sundays, although you might be lucky, like me, and find the very helpful curator, Mr Pippel, at home.
