Seven Years War : Torgau

While Ziethen was attacking from the south, the main force marched all the way around these woods to the west of the Austrian-occupied plateau. Here the woods are viewed from the north-east, standing at about the point where Frederick's three columns (under himself, General von Hulsen and Prince Georg Ludwig of Holstein-Gottorp) swung around and crossed the road which runs north to Elsnig village (see map).
